Clindamycin Hydrochloride is used in dogs and cats to treat soft tissue infections, dental infections and bone infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria. It is available as 25mg, 150mg capsules and as drops containing 25mg/1ml. The drops should be stored at room temperature. The usual dose in dogs is 2.5-5mg/pound by mouth every 12 hours.
